I was at the Railway Station this morning (3 a.m.) to see a passenger away by the _ midnight train, and saw, as we sat waiting, a splendid star rise out of the sea in ■'the- east, and as I walked home via Tees street thought it a sight others would like to see if they knew it was to be seen.- —I am, etc., D.H.J.
