Two men of the Norfolk Regiment, quartered at Gibraltar, were bitten by a mad dog last September and taken to the Pasteur Institute in Paris, where one died. The other came to London, apparently well, and passed a medical examination for the city police, but he suddenly became demented and died of hydrophobia. This is the first case in London for manv years.
