The Koonya completed her loading and sailed at 11 o clock on_ Saturday night, via Timaru, taking 350 tons of produce for Wellington, New Plymouth, and the West Coast. Mr G. H. Scales' chartered steamers aro (says the Lyttelton Times) again making their appearance in New Zealand waters. The Government steamer Tutanekai is again in commission, and conveyed a number of members of Parliament to Picton to take part in the Marlborough jubilee celebrations. The Evening Post (Wellington) states that nautical assessors are to be appointed in a few days for a marine in - quiry into the disappearance of the fishing steamer Duco.
