Advices from ' Victoria (British Columbia) state that Lord Lascelles, Earl Grey's aide, representing the rice-regal party, has been summoned for shooting game out of season, and fined 250 dollars. Six deer shot by the party were confiscated. [Earl Grey, who is Governor-General of Canada, "was bushed while hunting early in the week and spent five hours wandering about. The officials, unable to proceed against him personally, seeing that he is the King's "representative, have reached his pocket through bis aide-de-camp.]
