TRANSPLANTING BLOOD VESSELS. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.] (Per Press Association.) Received August 30, at 8.50 a.m. Paris, August 30. Dr Doven, of Paris, has successfully transplanted a live sheep's vein into the leg of a patient who was suffering from arterial aneurism, and whose circulation was restored. This is the first instance in which an organism of a lower animal lias been transferred to man.
