In connection with the Easter holidays, the Railway Department will issue excursion tickets from any station to any station on the Hnruiiui-Bluit' railway from Tuesday, 6th April, to. Monday, 12th April, available up to May 12th. In this issue appears the railway timetable arrangements which, come into force on April Ist. The Queen's Rifles will hold, a shooting match to-morrow, commencing at 2.30. The match will continue on Saturday afternoon. As a successful breeder of prize sheep there is no one in this district better known than Mr Walter Seth-Smith. He has exhibited in all the principal shows of this island, seldom failing to gain distinction. Mr •Scth-Smith has sold his property, with the result that tho wholo of his splendid: flock, pedigree herd of shorthorns, prize and stiul pigs, horses, implements, etc., will be sold to the highest bidder to-morrow. For further particulars wo refer those interested to our advertising columns. The salo will l>o held on the farm at Ngapara, commencing at 11 o'clock sharp, and will be conducted by the North Otago Farmers' 00-op. Association, in conjunction with Messrs Dalgety and Co. Luncheon will be provided.
