DAdSiNEVIRKE RACES. (Per Press Association.) Dannevirke, March 11. Splendid weather again prevailed for the second day's races, and there was a good attendance. The racing was interesting. The sum of £6165 was put through the machine, and eight bookmakers inside and one outside were licensed. Results: Hack. Hurdles, one mile and a-half. — Scenery 9.5, (C. An inquiry was held into the running of First Mate on the first- day, which was considered suspicious. After consideration the owner (Mr 'lelford) and the rider (Olliver) were couponed.
