WARDEN'S COURT.
The Warden (Mr T. Hutchison) held a sitting of the above Court at Livingstone last Friday, when the following applications and other business were disposed of : Elizabeth Adams, application for, a renewal of a residence site at Maerewlienua.—Granted for 21 years. Morris and William Frater, application to surrender a special alluvial claim of eight acres, on section 18, block 10, Maere-wii->nua.—Surrender accepted as from 24th December, 1908. Morris and William Prater, application for a special claim of three and _ a-half acres on section 18, block 10, wlienua.—Granted for 10 years. Frederick Bedford, application for a tail-race at Maerewhenua. —'Granted. George Adams, junr., application to amalgamate his two claims in section 9, block" 10, Maerewhenua,. containing in all 13 acres.—Application granted. C. E. Adams and D. L. Weir, application to amalgamate two extended claims in block 10:—Recommended for the consent of the Minister of Mines. Francis 'William Lotting and Jonas Oberg, application to surrender a tail-race in sections 6 and 7, block 10, Maerewhenua.—Application granted. James Lraysha.w. application for a claim an:l tail-race in sections 5 and 6, block 10, Maerewhenua Survey District. —This was objected to by Messrs Lotting and M'Quade and adjourned to Oamaru to be heard on the 16th inst. F. W. Lotting and W. M-Quade, application for a claim and tail-race in section 6, block 10.—An objection was lodged by James Brr.yshaw, and the matter was adjourned to" Oamaru to lie heard on the 16th inst. Charles Adams and D. L. Weir v. Joseph and W 7 . Frater, claim £SO damages for loss of gold and injury caused through the defendants' dam .breaking away.—Adjourned for hearing at Oamaru on • the. 16th inst. Mr Lee .appeared for all the applicants, except Messrs Lotting and M'Quade,, for whom Mr lljorring appeared.
