During the- hist, few days a number of plagued rats have been caught, close to the Darling Harbor wharves. Perth. July 15. Tn (ho Supreme. Court, application was made to quash the warrant against. \V X. Willis. An .'itlid.ivit put in by Willis denied that he committed fraud mid asserted that proceedings had been taken for 1 liepurpose of notoriety. Patrick Pea's aflidavit stated tli.it W'illis had no interest- in the land in ipieslion, and no collusion with him. A third allidavit by John Waul, declared that, Willis' action disclosed no offence against the Land Act. The hearing was adjourned until Monday.
