Harrier Notes.

(By Mikiday.) The Hill harriers held their run of the season yesterday afternoon. There was a. fair attendance. J. Ireland a ; nd k. Grenfell acted as hares, and laid a neat, •trail :o-vex the cape to the south-west, them round "by north-west, making the run homo a long one. The pacemaker (R. Ireland) wais fit, as were also most of the pack, and so, after finding the bags, did not- eu : deavor to take a short cut home. Being the first run, the pace was not too fast but was steady throughout. From Till street a sprint was made for home, which ended in. B. dc Lambert, getting in first. Subsequently the members were entertained by the President (Mr T. Williamson) at liis residence, where a few hours were very enjoyably spent by all. A : programme of events t*o take place this season is expected to be compiled after the next two or three provided the attendance at these- is satisfactory.
