Steys the Liverpool Daily Post:—Tha tiiTCrpool postal officials were very unkind to Birkenhead the oUier day. They. received a post-card to deliver in the ordinary way, superscribed, "Mr Samuel So-and-so, Blank Hotel, Land of Undiscovered Crime." The postal people wrote in red ink, 'Try Birkenhead," and the card was delivered to addressee in Birkenhead without the delay of a single poet!
