[By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.] Per Press Association. Received Juris 13, afc 10.29 a.m. London, Juno 12. Tin —Spot, 132 ; three months, Ad Australian cargo of wheat lias been sold at 29s 6d, 'and another at 295. Received June 13, at 10.25 a.m. Sydney, June 13. At the wool sales prices w-ere somewhat irregular, but about on a par witlh last month's sales. A small line of scoured was sold at 21d. i THE SOUTHERN GRAIN -MARKETS. To-day's Otago Daily Times has the folloiwing : —Wheat holders seem in no wise daunted at the importation of so much American flour. Having taken their wheat into store, they declare that they can afford [ to. sit down and watch it for a while. An ! | evidence of the firmness of th& market is found in the reported sale of a large line of prime velvet at 4s 3d on trucks Ashburton, free of commission and charges. Advices from Southland state :—"As a result of the declaration of peace fihere da a feeling abroad tfhiat dt will mean a cessation of shipments of oats to South Africa, but <withal there is no sign of the market weakening in this respect. Already great quantities have been shipped, or are being shipped, and more large vessels are coming to the Bluff almost every day, so that we may say that the sale of mis year's oat crop is practically assured. Even now all good samples are eagerly snapped up as soon as available. Then there is the probability that Australia must, in the near future, come to New Zealand for supplies of fodder, so that altogether ttere appears little likelihood of a faH in prices this season. There is no noticeable change in the oat market ,and the price remains as heretofore 2s'3d to 2s 4d, sacks extra, at wayside-stations, for good-colored, wellcleaned, dry samples. Shipments of oats coastwise and intercolonial for the week just over were only 1000 sacks. The Workfield took 130,735-801b bags for. Soubh Africa, and several other large vessels have arrived to take in oats.
