Tho tennis tournament »u continued yesterday on tho Heed street court, and most of the events wero brought to a satisfactory conclusion. Lynch again assertod hra superiority in the Men's Championship, although he had to play till ho knew, both in the Hemi-final with F. Newton and again in the final round against G. Glen. By his victory this year (the third jn succession) Lynch wins the Championship trophy right out. Miss A.' M'Donald won the Ladies' Championship fairly easily, though Miss Ruby Taylor gave her a good gnmo In tho final. In the Doubles Championship M'Donald and Qlon won t.hoir match against Lynch and Mayne after a great net-to, and they will now meet M'Lean and Sumpter in the final. Ross and Banks appropriated tlie Men's Double* Handicap, ehowiig good form. The Ladies' Doubles war# taken by Misses A. M'Donald and Mix* A. 'lfones, who have both shown consistent form throughout. The ladiefl of tho Hill Club dispensed afternoon tea during the afternoon to a. large number of visitors. The towniif■ent generally hiw been most successful, and i.s now regarded as a fixture for the Easter season. The thanks of' -the Committee ajro due to those who helped at the scoring, especially to Messrs Appleby and Dawson, who bore the burden and heat of ilia day in this respect. The following are additional results : Mem's Singles Championship. Lynch beat F. Newton, 7—6, 6-^O. Final. Lynch beat Glen, 7—5, 6—l, and win* the cup. Men's Doubled Championship. M'Donald and Glen beat Lynch and Mayne, B—6, 6—4. Ladies' Doubles Handicap. Misses A. Gilchrist and Spain beat Miss Newton nd Mrs J. Borton,9—9. Misses A. Gilchrist Mid Spain beat Misses Gould and Glen, 9—6. Final. Miiwe« A. M'Donald and A. Jones beat Misses A. Gilchrist and Spain, 9—3, and won the event. Combined Doubles Handicap. Mrns Ohaffey and M'Lean beat Mis* Newton and W. Sumpter, 10—8. Ross and Banks beat Spain and Sumpter, 11—9. Final. Ross and Bank# beat M'Lean and W. Sumpter, 9—7, and won the event.
