All the members of the Ministry excepting Mr M'Coy have been returned unopposed. Speaking at Bairnadale, the Premier outlined the Government policy. They would wind ap the session as early as possible and prepare for the federal session. He intends to carry out the financial proposals of his predecessors, and he would proceed with a number of bills before the House. The autumn aession would be chiefly devoted to dividing the colony into federal electorates. A Bill would be introduced to give women a vote. The Government would take immediate steps to provide for the aged poor pending the introduction of an Old Age Pension Bill, and would also introduce legislation dealing with habitual drunkards. Adelaide, December 13.
In the Assembly Mr Holder stated that he intended before the end of the session to introduce a Bill giving a vote for the Council to every occupant of a house of a rental of Lls and their wives. The Government would take up all the measures of the Kingston Government.
