Mbssbs Wish and Hanging,— Gentlemen, —I am in receipt of yours of to-day, and in reply I beg to state : (1) She rent I received for the Northern Hotel, when licensed, was, at first, L3OO per annum, and latterly L2OO, the tenant in each case paying all rates. The rent now is 30s per week, out of which 1 have to pay about Ll6 per annum. (2) The rates for the same hotel when licensed were from about L 75 to LSO per annum ; now, about Ll6. NOTE.— A Large STORE in Syne Street, said to have Cost £2700, waa sold by Public auction for £9S. This Was Not a Licensed Hotel.
