Altair braised his foot in a gallop afc Yalafltttsfc yesterday, and may be unable to state the C.J C. meeting. . tthe weather is colder than usual for this time of the year. tEhe going will be excellent and should suit some of the horses that are sore, bub there are fewer lame horses this season than usual. To-morrow's Mllops may change opinions somewhat, but Boreas may go out favorite for the Cup, and was most in favor last night.
