(by telegraph.) (from our own correspondent.) Wellinoton, September 23. In the Legislative Council the Native Land Laws Amendment Bill passed Committee stage. The second reading was agreed to of the Gaming and Lotteries Act Amendment Bill, which deals with the suppression of street betting. The second reading of the Tramways Act Amendment Bill was agreed to. The debate on the second reading of the Separate Institutions Bill was adjourned. The Council rose at 4 45.
