Mails close at the chief Post Office, Oamaru (subject to any necessary alteraions) as under : For Northern ports, ot--- and daily, at 2.30 p.m. Late letter?, mail vaD, north express, at 3 p m. Tuesday, sth October, For Australian Colonies, United Kingdom, and Europe, also Ceylon, India, China, Japan, Straits Settlements, Mediterranean ports, etc., via Bluff and Hobart, per VVakatipu, at 6.30 a.m. _ Correspondence for the United Kingdom and Europe need not be specially addressed. This mail is due at London on 17th November.
