AUSTRALIAN NEWS.
(pee united press association.) Received April 21, at 10 a.m. Sydney, April 21. Sales of Government stock have been suspended till further notice, the Government having sufficient funds at its disposal. Adelaide, April 21. At the Commercial Travellers' Conference it was stated that the steamship companies on the Australian coast had agreed to grant a concession of 20 per cent to commercial travellers, and 10 per cent on the New Zealand and Tasmanian coasts. It was decided to send congratulatory messages to the Queen and Federation Convention. The next Conference will be held at Brisbane.
