TURKEY AND GREECE.

Constantinople, March 24.
The Turks massacred a hundred Armenians at Tokat, and pillaged the bazaar. The slaughter lasted eight hours. The Porte, at tha request of the Embassies, has dismissed the three chief oftici.lsfif the town.
Sir Philip Currie, British Ambassador, protested in the strongest terms against the massacres.
London, March 24.
The Standard states that telegrams are constantly parsing with Constantinople with regard to the massacres. Athens, March 24.
Anarchy is general throughout Crete, excepting in the places occupied by the Powers.

The ordered the insurgents not to prevent the landing of provisions for the Turkish blockhouse there. It is considered essential that the Greeks should not occupy Elassona. The camp has, therefore, been strongly fortified. The fortifying of Prevesa has been stopped. Germany refuses to use her troops for the Cretan blockade, as she prefers the blockade of the Piraeus.
Tho foreign admirals are greatly impressed with tho armaments of the British warship.?, and the skill of their mu:> cavres.
