THE GLENBROOK MURDERS.

The evening paper is responsible for the statement that the police are making inquiries with regard to the visit of Butler to New Zealand, which was coincident with the mysterious murders of several prospectors. The inquiries have special reference to the son of a well-known Sydney civil servant, whose mutilated body was found in a shepherd's hut in one of the gold districts a few months ago.
