Our Volunteers.
I BATTERY. The members of the above corps completed a match yesterday morning for trophies presented by the Gunners, Craig and Co., and Dodds and Co., tho conditions being 10 shots at 300, 500 and 600 yards. The 600 yards shooting was very poor. Gunner Barraolough being top with the poor seore of 26 out of a possible 50. Sergt. Smith could only get 18. The following are the scores :
This match finishes the shooting for the Company's Belt, the winner turning up in Sergt. Smith, Gnhner Barraolough (last year's winner) being second/ The following are the aggregates :
