(per united press association). Received September 22, at 1 a.m. Melbourne, September 21, The trial of the City of Melbourne Bank directors has 'begun before a special jury. The Premier suggests that the colonies might hold elections for federation delegates in February. Mr Reid, Premier of New South Wales, states that he thinks the date rather too early.
