Chbistchubch, September 2L At the adjourned inquest on the skeleton found at Oh oka the evidence of Dr Parsons shoved that there were suspicions fractures of the sknlL The inquest was adjourned in order that another medical man might make an examination. The police have received information from Sydney that the lif§ insurance policy receipt which was fonnd on the body was issued to John L. E. Ohlsen, but lapsed in 189 L Ohlsen was last heard of in Otago in 1891. The barque Alice, from New York, arrived to-day. On July 21 one of the crew, a German, named Albert Brickmer, while engaged furling the flying-jib, fell overboard, and was drowned. Wellington. September 22. _ A rn»n named Donald Munro, aged 58 years, schoolmaster at the State school at Ohariu Valley, died suddenly last night. The supposed cause of death was apoplexy. He leaves a wife. Captain James jSorrie, aj old Royal Mail Company's officer, who has been residing at Wellington for the last 16 years, died last night.
