Jlr Chamberlain suggests to President Kroner that it is possible to abrogate the Convention admitting the suzerainty of Great Britain if the grievances of the Uitlanders are redressed, and the franchise granted to British residents. He also urges a treaty of amity under which Great Britain will guarantee the inde pendence of the republic. Received March 16, at 10.15 a.m. Pretoria, March 15.
The Transvaal Government will exhume the bodies of those who fell in the grrht at Dornkorp, and inter them in the eemetery.
