MAEREWHENUA SCHOOL.

The annual breaking-up of the above mentioned school took place on Thursday. Several of the parents and friends were present. After a programme consisting of songs, and recitations had been gone through, Mr T. Howe Chairman, presented the prizes. Three cheers were given for the teacher Miss Beveridge, and also for the ladies who judged the sewing. The children were then dismissed for the Christmas holidays.
