Land Ballot.

A ballot was taken at the Crown Lands Oflice on Thursday for small grazing run 9 of 23, Kurow, situated at the back of the town of Kurow, and containing 1929 acres. The rental was 7-id per aero. Thirty applications were received, and Walter Sutherland was the successful applicant. The ballot was conducted by Mr W. Robertson, under the supervision of Mr J. P. Maitland, and Mr T. A.
