The Christchurch Sunday-Trad-ing Cases.
» - '. (BY TEIEGIUrH.) . Chbbtchubch, July 20. At the S.M. Court to-day, Mr Bishop delivered a lengthy judgment in the case of the hotelkeepers recently charged with Sunday-trading. The informations were laid by four young men, members of the Prohibition League, who visited the houses and obtained liquor. The licensees ot the Caversham, White Hart, Eastern, Prince of Wales, Coker's, and Zetland Arms Hotels were each fined LlO and costs LI 12s 6d. The charges against six other publicans were withdrawn at the last sitting of the Court on these cases.
