(BY TELEGRAPH.) Dunedin, May 3. At the inquest to-day on the boy Edward Williamson, "an apprentice killed in A. and T. Burt's yard, the evidence showed that the deceased and Duguid, neither of whom had anything.to do> with, or knew anything about it, were swinging on a crane. John Robinson, another prentice, turned the handle, and' raised them up, when, they jumped off, and he lowered the chain again. When the pair got on again he raised them again, when the jib started to come down, and the bpys. were underneath it. Robinson had taken the paul out of the wheel. The; jury brought in' a verdict of accidental death. " Auckland, May 3.
