MAIL NOTICE.

Saturday, 13th April. For northern ports of New Zealand, per Penguin, at 2.30 p.m SAN FRANCISCO MAIL SERVICE. For United Kingdom and Europe, North and South America, Sandwich' Islands, and Samoa, per Mariposa, at 2 p.m. This mail will be due in London' on 22nd May. HOLIDAY ARRANGEMENTS. Good Friday.—The Post Office will be closed all day. All mails usually dispatched on Friday will be closed at 8.30 p.m. oh Thursday. Easter Monday.—The Post Office will be open, in all branches, from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Mails usually dispaltched in the afternoon will close at 10 a.m. On Good Friday and Easter' Monday will be no deliveries by letter-carriers; but. the Post Office will re-open on Thursday and on Saturday from 5.30 p.m. to .9 p.m. for delivery of correspondence. On Good Friday and Easter Monday the ? telegraph office will open from 9 to 11 a.m.,; and from 7 to 8 p m. For Dunedin, Port Chalmers, Palmers ton and intermediate offices, daily at 6.30 a.m J and 4.45 p.m. For Christchurch, daily at 2.30 and 4 p.n,.
