(by telegraph.) Chkistchurch, March 19. The polo tournament was continued to-day. with-matches between Rangitikei first and Warrengate,: andr between Rangitikei second. and North Canterbury. There was a good'attendance. The first game" produced* some splendid play, but Rangitikei firsf:, besides being the better mounted team, .were a little stronger than their opponents, and ultimately won :by fivegoals to one goal. The game between North Canterbury and Rangitikei was of a most exciting description, and at.the close., of "the stipulated play was a tie, each team Hiving scored four goals. It was decided to play another spell, and amidst great excitement Dalrymple hit a goal and secured the matoh for Rangitikei second.
