THE following ALTERATIONS in and ADDITIONS to the ordinary Timetable will be made in connection with the Christmas Holidays : MONDAY, 24th DECEMBER. The 3.0 p.m. train from Dunedin will stop at any station where required north of Upper Port Chalmers, to allow passengers to alight. An Excursion Train will leave Dunedin for Christchurch at 9.55 p.m., stopping at Waitati, Seacliff, Waikouaiti, Palmerston, Hampden, and any station north of Oamaru. TUESDAY, 25th DECEMBER. A train will leave Oamaru for . Dunedin at 4.20 a.m., Hampden 5 20 a.m., Palmerston 6.10 a.m., Waikouaiti 6.33 a.m., Seacliff 7.2 a.m., Waitati 7.21 a.m. This train will stop at the stations named only to pick up and set down passengers. A train will leave Dunedin for Oamaru at 9.30 a.m., Palmerston 12.5 p.m., Hampden 12.50 p.m., Herbert 1.15 p.m., Maheno 1 30 p.m., returning from Oamaru at 2.45 p.m., Maheno 3.20 p.m., Herbert 3.38 p.m., Hampden 4.5 p.m., Palmerston 5.0 p.m. The Express Trains between Dunedin and Christchurch and the Express Trains between Dunedin and Invercargill will run as usual. A Train will leave Balclutha for Dunedin at 7-23 a.m. On the Port Chalmers line trains will run as on Sundays. All other Train Services between Timaru and Gobe will be Suspended on Christmas Day. WEDNESDAY, 26th DECEMBER. The 3.0 p.m. train from Dunedin will stop at any stations north of Upper Port Chalmers to allow passengers to alight. CALEDONIAN SPORTS AT NGAPARA. The Ordinary Trains between Oamaru and Toko-Rahi will not run. Trains will leave Oamaru for Ngapara at 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m., leaving Elderslie at 9.25 a.m. and 525 p.m. j returning from Ngapara at 10.10 a.m. and 7.0 p.m., and Elderslie at 10.40 a.m. and 7.30 p.m. OAMARU GARRISON BAND'S PICNIC AT MOERAKI.
