For the Epsom there are oc casional inquiries for the New Zealander Response at 100 to 8. Oxide was to-day supported to win the Metropolitan Stakes for LIOOO at 100 to 6. The Derby is a dead letter, and offers of 2 to 1 on the field failed to lead to business. Received September 12. at 1 p.m. Sydney. September 12. There was fine weather for the training t jis morning. Response put up a good performance, covering the Epsom distance in a shade under lmin 50sec. Loyalty had the better of Launceston over the same distance. The Possible did strone work, and Stanmore had a fair gallop. First Shot was badly left by Glenullin in a gallop once round. Florne with a light weight, beat Paris over a jnile and a furlong. Time, 2min 12sec.
