Lilley, that the Peace Preservation Bill is an endeavor to usurp the liberties of the people. The shearers at Longreach have declared the strike off. Received September 11, at 2.20 p.m. London, September 10. The action of the independent labor party, whose socialistic programme was carried at the Norwich Congress, is embarrassing the Liberal party.
