The steamer Murrumbidgee, while in the vicinity of St. Paul's Island, in the Indian Ocean, passed a thousand cases of kerosene floating about among the wreckage of a lost vessel, which had the appearance of being charred by fire. It is believed that the debris belongs to some Australian - bound trader, and anxiety is felt for the safety of the ship Cancera, 90 days out from New York. Owing to a gale, the Murrumbidgee was unable to take steps to ascertain the name of the vessel. Over 11,000 is now in hand for distressed unemployed. Adelaide, July 20.
