The patent, is an improved method of sight-testing, called the retraction test, and is a simple and perfect mode of discovering the slightest defect or difference between the two organs of sight. Lazarus, the eminent Oculist Optician, and seeing a practical experiment of his patent refraction test and system of sight-testing. Certainly nothing simpler or more perfect could be desired.
