The Bowling Tournament.

(BY TELEGRAPH.) Dunedin, February 9. The bowline tournament, under the auspices of the Associaiion, was commenced to-day. The first ties of the rink tournament were played off on the Roslyn green, which was in good order, considering the recent rains. The results were that Sneddon's Kaituna rink (27), beat Baxter's Dunedin rink (15), and Hunter's Dunedin rink (23) beat Carswell's Taieri rink (15). On the Dunedin green, in the interclub match, Dunedin (72) beat Christchurch (36), and the Caledonian (41) beat Canterbury (36). Dusedet, February 10. The green is very heavy owing to the continued rains. Results : Rink Touknamext. Second ties.
