CHMSTCHURCH CORK EXCHANGE. The following is the Corn Exchange report (per X. P. Sales are chiefly from ex store lines, and it is more difficult to obtain reliable quotations beyond personal operations. Our shipping space for grain is becoming limited, and it is hardly iikclj that freights will go down. Oats are in fair local demand, but shipping appears to be entirely out of the qnesittou- Barley Large transactions have transpired, but in almost every case the buyers have had their own way as regards prices. Beans are inquired for for shipment, but peas are quite neglected. Ryegrass and cocksfoot are it being out of season for any large business. Potatoes are as dull a? they can possibly be, out growers having them nearly all now pitted, and not offering so freely. Onions nave advanced, and L.4 at Christchtirch is readily given, whereas holders are asking another 2«a. Dairy produce is tirin at our last quotations.
