Three months bills are discounted at per cent-. Silver, 3s Bfd. At the Antwerp wool sales, 5600 bales of River Plate wool were sold at prices equal to those ruling at the March sales. 2359 bales of Australian wool were sold at prices equal to those obtained at the last London sales. Received June S, at 10.30 a.m.] London, June 6. The prospects of the crops in Great Britain are favorable, and on the Continent they have slightly improved. The English markets are depressed, and business is almost at a standstill. The Rev. Arthur Jones, formerly of Fitzroy. Melbourne, has been committed for trial on a charge of stealing the property of Mr James, with whose wife he eloped from Melbourne. Duncan, who was arrested last month on suspicion of murdering his wife, who was found dead on Bettswkowd Mountain, in Wales, has confessed that, rendered desperate by the loss of his fortune, he attacked her, with fatal results.
