An edict has been issued by the Czar for Jews not to make a confession of faith until a year's probation has expired. It is Russian subjects and not Jews who are being deported to Siberia. Washington, May 21. The United States Government have been induced to forego their intention to capture the Itata, in order that engagements between the Charleston and Esmeralda may be avoided.
