ITS FIRST AND ONLY EXHIBITION IN OAMARU ON MONDAY NEXT. Messrs M'Mahon have much pleasure in Announcing the only exhibition iu Oamaru of Edison's Latest Phonograph, the astounding talking machine, will take place at the Public Hall, on Monday evening next. Professor Douglas Archibald, M.A., Oxon., -will _ deliver an intensely interesting lecture, and exhibit the incredible cajnbilitics of the marvel of nineteenth century. . . . Songs by famous artistes, speeches by W. E. Gladstone, instrumental music performed in Europe Hud America, full bands, bell chime?, English song birds.

Toole, Madame Burton, Nellie Stewart, Snazelle, George Leitch. quartettes by the Christchurch Cathedral Choir, Adelaide Cathedral Choir, American Colored Jubilee Choir, etc., recitations by Alf. Dampier and Edison, orations by Sir George Grey, Hon. J. Ball.mce, Bishop Julius, T. K. Macdonald, the Hon. The Speaker, Sir Robert Stout, the Earl of Kintore, the Earl of Onslow, Band selections by Tusan's Band, New York. Adelaide, and Melbourne Bands, and the Christchurch Salvation Band, will be actually reproduced with marvellous fidelity.—The box plan is now open at Kemslied's Music Warehouse, where early application for seats is absolutely necessary. Popular prices will be charged, viz., three shillings, two shillings, and one shilling.
