Received April 2S, at 10.1.3 a.m.] Valparaiso, April 27. Details of the sinking of the rebel warship Blanca Encalada oil' Autofagasta show that she was attacked by a torpedo fleet while she way lying at anchor, and that she was destroyed by the Almerante launch, a torpedo cutter recently built; in England, which fired two Whitehead torpedoes. The number of persons on board the Blanca Encalada was 500, half of whom were drowned. The Huascar was also struck by a torpedo. The warship Florence has gone over to the rebels.
President Balmaceda, fearing attempts to poison him, has all meals prepared by his mother.
London, April 27Colonial stocks generally have fallen another half per cent.
