CHBISTCHURCH CORN EXCHANGE. Maltsters are fairly well supplied, and only pn-chasa where there teems a prospect of holding far another season ; while no orders mteroolonlally cin be noted of any consequence. Beans and psaa—Only a few sales m the former, and a slight Inquiry for blues have come under our notice at quotations. Potatoes—lnquiry limited, and on' remarks of last week still hold as to condition and price. Dairy produce is, for butter, a shade firmer, and a more aotivo Inquiry. Cheese, unaltered. Our quotations are as follow : Whaat—Prime Tuscan, 3« Id; pearl, 2s lid ; Hunter's. 2s 9d to 2a lOd: whole fowl feed. 2s 61 ; broken, 2* to 2s 3d. Oats—Milling. Is 7d ; short stout feed, la 6*d ; inferior. Is 3d to Is sd. Barley—Prime matting. 3s; medium, 2s 3d t» 2s 6d ; feed. Is 6d to It 9d. Beans, 2.5 d. Peas—Prussian blues, hand threshed (true to name), 2e 93 to 3* ; feed. 2j 4d to 2j 6d. Potatoes—Derwents, 32s to 355, at country stations. Dairy produce.—Butter, prime keg, Bd. Cheese, large th.it, 3d; small loaf shape 34dto4d. The above prices are those paid to farmers for dellvrry f.0,b., Lyttelton, sacks extra. Potatoes excepted.
