At the first hurdle Tenakoe cime to grief. Tornado and Garibaldi Boon singled themselves from the others, and made the pace very warm. When approaching the far aide of the ccurso Garibaldi fell, and from this out Tornado had the race pretty well his own way, as, although Wardrobe and Waltangi made desperate efforts to catch him in the straight, he came in a comfortable winner by a couple of lengths. Occident w< s served up a warm favorite at less than level money. From an indifferent Btart Occident led, but soon steadied, and kept in a handy position. Alsace and Masthead then alternately led, but rounding the home turn the field closed up. St. Jame3 led into the straight, but W T hite, bringing up Occident with a splendid run on the inside, won comfortably by half a length. Quibble waß third, and Recluse fourth. Time—2mln 40f3ec. Derrett was called before tho stewards and reprimanded for his noa-atarting with Ccrolla on the first day. OSSLOW rLATE. Tirailleur._ 1 Sultan - 2 Cynisca Won hard held by a couple of lengths, The winner was loudly yroaned.
