AUSTRALIAN ELEVEN IN ENGLAND.

A match was commenced to-day at Harrowgate between the Australian Eleven and an Eleven of England. The Australians went firßt to the wickets, but they made a poor stand, the last wiiket falling when only 70 runs had been made. Trott was the highest scorer with 27 to bis credit. The Englishmen ia their first | ionings put together 111, and when the stumps were drawn the Australians in their second venture bad made 11 rnns without the loss of a wicket. Received September 5, at 1.25 a.m. London, September 3. Ia the cricket match the Australians against an Eleven of England—Turner took 5 wickets for 63, Ferris 3 for 38, Worrall 2 for 6. Received September 5, at 12 30 p.m. London, September 4. Tbe Australians, in their second innings, have lost 5 wickets for 61, of which Worral made 30. The team will return by the Cozco.
