There are absolutely none ohanging hands, and the causes of this stagnation iu trade are apparently saarcity of feed and the uncertainty of obtaining a remunerative price for the sheep when fattened. Wool.—The sales in Melbourne ooutinue to progress satisfactorily, the attendance of buyers being good, and the competition brisk. ... Sheepskins.—The weekly sales took place to-day, and were well Competition was brisk, and laßt week's prices maintained. Country cross-breds brought np to 3s 7d; do merinoß, up to 3s lOd; butchers' crossbreds, 3s 9d to 4s 4d; do merinos, 2s 7d to 3s 9d; green pelts, 2d to 4d; and lambskins, 6d to Bd. Rabbitskins.—The demand is not so aotivo and prices lower. None offered this week. Tallow.— There is no improvement to report.
