GOOD TEMPLARS.
(BY TELEGRAPH.) Ashbukton, April 7. Thi3 morning the Grand Lodge, 1.0.GT., opened in the Orange Hall. Bro. Harding, G.W.C.T., presided, and the following representatives were present :—Bros. Carr (Dunedin); Dudley and Eyre (Wanganui) ; Macneil, Vincent, and Watson (Selwyn) : Stead (Invercargill) ; M'Lauchlin (Port Chalmers); Potts (Hokitika) ; Bennett (Wellington); Sherwood (Blenheim); Rickard (Nelson); Evans (Rangiora); Cook (ABhburton); Young (Christchcirch). M. W. Green, J. W. Jago, and Davis were also present. Bro. Capper, from England, was introduced, and took the chair by request. He conducted the business of the forenoon session. The Lodge was engaged in discussing the report of the G.W.C.T., which waa mostly adopted. Two clauses have been postponed. A public meeting in connection with the session will be held I this evening.
