TO MY CUSTOMERS— I hive by this last English mail received invoices of my AUTUMN AND WINTER GOODS, amounting to nearly 1.5000, which may be expected in about a month from afcove date. The largely-increased trade resulting from the opening of my New Premises, three years since, enabled me to make material reductions in price throughout the various departments. This coming season I intend to still further reduce many lines. It iB an ever-increaaing trade I desire. In order to carry out my business to the faliest extent, it is necessary to have your co-operation, and I most respectfully remind my Customers that my business is conducted on Raady-Money principles. The goods are bought of the manufacturers for Cash, and are sold at the smallest margin of profit. I do not think the public are aware that in businesses where the profits are reduced to such a minimum as in mine, that unless payment Is made when the goods are bought or within a month, the transactions are rendered unprofitable, or an actual loss. This, I feel assured, is not your desire, and you will therefore give me your countenance and support in strictly carrying out the Ready-Money System of my trading.
