The German barque Gustav Metzler arrived in port from Lyttelton last night after a protracted passage of 10 days. The fcarqae will commence to load at onee on account of Messrs. P. Cunningham and Co. for the United Kingdom. The Uni n Company's regular trader Maori arrived here this, morning with general merchandise from Fhinetliti. She left in the afternoon for Port Chalmers with 350 bales of wool for transhipment. The steamer Beautiful Star arrived here this morning in command of Captain Cromarty, formerly first mate of the Wakatipti. Captain Bernecb having bees transferred to the Southern Cross. She sailed this afternoon with a cargo of produce for West Coast ports.
