Specimens of Caswell Sound Marble can be Been at any of the Museums in New Zealand ; the Chamber of Commerce, Wellington ; or on application to any of the officers of the Company. In introducing this eligible investment to the notice of the public, the promoters desire to state that the Company's right comprise the best, most available, extensive, and perhaps mcst valuable Marble deposits in the known world, at all event? in the Southern Hemisphere. This is sufficiently proved by Caßwell Sound Marble securing the first prize at the late Sydney Exhibition against Italian Statuary and other valuable varieties. They also wish to dwell upon its known certainty and non-speculative character, the ultimate success of this venture being now well established. The lowest quotation for this Marble is 12s per loot, and ranges np to £5. Larger blocks are however, much more valuable, some pu'e White Statuary, without flaws, realising as much aa £20,000 sterling in Europe. The ordinary price for a block suitable for a lifesize hnman statue being about £IOOO. The present cost of producing this Marble by manual labor only is about 2s per cubic foot, f. o.b. These figures may appear incredible, but they are nevertheless absolutely correct. Thus, taking the coßt of production as stated, and the very lowestwholesalequotation at 12s per foot, gives the apparently fabnlous minimum rate of £0 J per cent, profit. It is therefore, no visionary matter, as these are leading commercial lines and the values well known, the facilities of production, shipment, high quality of product, giving a vast advantage over any like prop rty in the world. We will also venture to predict that the value of the Company's shares will increase at least 300 per cent, within twelve months of issue. Referring to consumption of these commodities, it is also enosmous. The consumption of Marble, Portland Cement, acd Lime, in the Australian Colonies alono daring the last tyelve months ha 3 been £2,872,600 sterling and is rapidly increasing. Caswell Sound is a con.moAious and safe harbor for the largest vessels In all the works of the Company being situated at the water's edge. The Government of cojony has also promised to favorably con? aider special grants and pflnceasipns in aid as soon as tfie Company is successfully floated. For further ps.rticxflars re other minerals found at the Spund, copper, coal, gold, he., also the manufacture of hydraulic cement, lime, &c , together with scientific, professional, Government, and other reports, with details of the objects and intentions of the Company, we refer to the Prospectus, which a*n be obtained upon application to any of the officers of tfye Company qr from Company's the Bsck Nfjw Zealand, Oamaru, and at any ol their branches iff.
